Well they put out the schedule in relatively short order.
Looks like June 11, 2017 will be the date Croatia visits. About a year earlier than we planned, but what the hey.
What do you think is the best time of year to visit?
Weather wise July is the safest bet, but its Iceland so really there is no way to predict the weather, this summer July has been the best so far, but last year it was pretty crappy.
If you don't like big crowds of tourists everywhere, May is a great choice, even September, July and August are nuts.
This weekend, always the first weekend in August is the biggest party weekend in Iceland next to New Years eve. If you are young, want to experience a wild party, Vestmannaeyjar is where you want to be! You have to book this WAY early in advance.

I am going to bump an old thread, noticed some good deals on tickets with minimal layovers next Spring. Thoughts on the weather and available activities during late March to April? Will everything still be covered by snow and ice? Would it be better to wait until its warmer?

Honestly, Iceland is beautiful any time of year, but March to April you need to be prepared for any kid of weather, including pretty damp, cold and windy. If you need sunshine and nice weather in order to have a good time I would suggest July. But I love Iceland any time.

We have had about 3 days of sunshine this entire summer, its been a record-breaking craptastic summer lol
This doesn't sound good. My friend just sent me a list of possible places for travel next summer and Iceland is near the top of the list.
I didn't read the rest of the thread, because it is so old, but any comments or suggestions would be great. We would be interested in culture, sites, food/drink, etc. Our partying days are behind us, so nothing in that area.
