Absolute belter of a day for a game. Can't wait to get back in the stands.
A Cavalry win and a York loss and playoffs are essentially clinched. That would put Cavalry 12 points up on York with 4 games left and a +7 or more goal differential to make up.
Felt like a much better performance over recent games. Thought Cavalry largely dominated, but their lack of finish continues to bite them in the ass. Once Farsi and Mason came on it was a different game. The Fisk chance in the first half that was cleared off the line, Camargo passing when he's in on goal, Fisk shooting it over the bar 8 yards from goal. All should have been finished.
Looked like the keeper made a hell of a save on the penalty live, will have to see the replays. Also it has to be said the officiating was the best I have ever seen. We even clapped the officiating crew off the pitch. If you can give em #### when they are bad, you can give em props when they do well.
Personally I feel better after that game than I did on Thursday, despite the lack of a result.

Man that was a fun game. Thought the starting 11 held their own even though it was a bit of a weaker lineup. That 2nd half the Cavs looked really good and probably deserved to win. Unlucky for Mason but thought he looked good coming back from injury. Thought Yao was great too. Probably my man of the match, some good hard tackles. Agree with Sherm, Thought the ref was excellent especially as Halifax's attacking tactic was to throw themselves on the floor.
Great afternoon, and a fun nil nil.

Agreed all around. Yao is a monster at this level and the game felt completely different once Mason & Farsi came in. Beautiful day at Spruce Meadows for my son's first ever sporting event.

Noticed this section on Cavalry's website regarding their path to the first team. Interesting to see it identified, I assumed Tommy just plucked players from Foothills...
NSFW!
