Nikolayev had 1a,+1, and racked up 12 minutes of penalties just past the 15 minute mark of the third: 2 for checking from behind, and a 10-minute misconduct. 41gp/13g/33a/46pts, +24, 55 PIM. 21st in USHL scoring.

Tri-City beats Fargo 8-2. Nikolayev was second star with 1g,3a, +3. 42gp/14g/36a/50pts,+27, 55 PIM. He is tied for 13th in scoring (although only 10 players in the top-20 have a better ppg than his 1.19), 6th in plus/minus.
Sergeev stops 26 of 28. 1.78 GAA, .927%.

They took away one of Nikolayev's assists from the game on the 11th-they've been correcting stats the day after games a lot in that league. Nik's stat line is 43gp/17g/35a/52pts,+30, 57 PIM. He's tied for 13th in scoring, although only 10 players in the top-20 have a better ppg than his 1.21. He is now 3rd in plus/minus.
Sergeev's backup, Sebastian Wraneschitz, only faced 13 shots in tonights game, letting in one goal.

Awesome to see Nikolaev's offensive confidence and growth this season. Great call to come to this league.
I hope that he's able to keep up that confidence and performance in professional next year! He could be a great addition to the heat.

Waterloo beats Tri-City 5-4. Nik had 2a, +1. Tied for 11th in USHL scoring with 44gp/17g/38a/55pts,+31, 57 PIM. Only 8 players in the top-20 have a better ppg than his 1.25. He is 3rd in the USHL in plus/minus.
Sergeev stops 31 of 36. 1.88 GAA,.924%. His stats have fallen off a bit, but it appears like the same has happened to his peers-the next highest SV% is .908. Sergeev is still the goalie king of the USHL.
Tri-City is still by far the best team in the league, with 74 points to Chicago's 68, and a 0.787 win %. They have clinched a playoff spot, along with Western Conference rival Sioux City.

Tri-City played the second of three games in three nights, beating Waterloo 4-2. Nik had 1a, even. 45gp/17g/39a/56pts,+31, 61 PIM. Tied for 11th in scoring.
Wraneschitz started the game, playing the first 2 periods (2 goals on 20 shots) before leaving the game, I'm guessing with an injury. Sergeev takes over, stopping 10/10 in the third. 1.86 GAA,.925%.

Reminds me of Backlund lite-6'1", skates well, very defensively responsible, and has a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully will make a good 3rd line C someday.
