Beyond legend, the man was a musical god, probably the last of the great songwriters that dominated music pre the 1970's

My little brother was on the Buckshot Show for his birthday way back in 1980 and I remember sending in drawings to the show in the mid 70s.
Loved that show, and Benny the Bear was my favourite.
