My son was a hooker, he's 28 now and the aches and pains are starting to get real now. I asked him if the broken noses, knee and shoulder injuries were worth it. Said he wouldn't change a second of it.

Did you watch the game?

It was simply a case of Ireland blowing them out of the water in the first twenty minutes and that was that.

The scoreline flatters Wales.

Yep...that sounds all too familiar.

French just about squeaked past the Italians.

Next up for them is probable six nations decider against Ireland next Saturday in Dublin.

Yip

I watched both games live down at Joyce in 4th.

Ireland were good, but not great.

Wales were a shambles both with and without the ball in hand.

That little Italian 15 is something. I hope he is an excitement machine for years to come.

Word of advice.

Do not let your daughter be shoe horned into a position based on body composition alone.

It is something we do in Canada

IE: in Canada Freddie Steward, 6’5” would have been a lock, not a fullback.

Not going to mention the score but HT in Dublin and Ireland/France not disappointing in intensity, periods of flair, great finishes, great saves and a spectacle overall.

2nd half didn't quite live up to the 1st but had it's moments. It's always stressful when France starts doing France things, no lead is safe, all defensive discipline goes out the window, laws of physics can be suspended, but it didn't have the same result it usually does, thankfully.

Don't know why they were in such a rush to draw the groups for the upcoming WC way back in 2020 basing it off the seedings then. And why they couldn't wait until closer to the tournament.

As it stands now the currently ranked top four countries (IIRE, FRA, NZ, SA) are all stacked on the same side.

Good God Wales are horrible.

I am interested in the Scot v Irish match.

I'd say the Scots looked better against the Welsh than the Irish did.

Ah Vancouver 7's you extraordinary.

Uruguay men beating Fiji
Canada men beating Aussie

The mixed female & male format was great.

Some exceptional rugby played by both genders.

Just spent the weekend at Vancouver 7’s, what a blast that was!

Great format, a little long maybe but the quality of play made it pretty easy to hang around. Both our men’s and women’s teams look like they have a lot of potential. Looking forward to following them.

Little #11 for Canada Women is from my club,

Piper Logan, Calgary Hornets.

I'm late for my detox session.

Wow France just handed England their largest ever home loss. 7 tries for the French and they were all gorgeous.

Is there a better rugby player than Dupont right now?

I think not

An absolute unit!

God I love French rugby

So a potential Grand Slam clincher, in Dublin, on St. Patrick's Day Weekend, against an England side coming off an embarrassing defeat at home to the French.

That Netflix crew are really getting their money's worth on this one.

It will be a good test to see if Ireland have that mental toughness needed to put a team to the sword that everything thinks they should beat.

Previous Ireland sides have taken these type games off mentally and been tripped up.
