Yeah they’ll be more then a few CF wall catches with that reduced wall…almost intentional to get those highlights.
But a lot more HR overall IMO…the increased wall height matters less given the trajectory of most HR.
Like the non symmetrical, would’ve liked if they took it a bit further.
Those elevated bullpens (they can warm up below too) with an overhang of fans will probably lead to some incidents in the opposing BP.

Jays have signed ex yankee reliever Chad Green to a 2 year deal for $8.5 million with options for 2025 and 2026.
He's hurt so likely won't pitch this year. Especially if the options are team options.

Correction, he will likely be back in July or August. Had TJS last June. Awesome signing IMO

Interesting. Pretty low cost to acquire him. He always had great strikeout numbers. I love how much belief that Jays have in their pitcher development/rehab lab.

Low cost, very high ceiling. Out of sheer numbers I guessing the bullpen should be alright this year, even with gambles.

Love it. Come July/august when we are clamouring for relief help via trade deadline - this will be waiting in the wings

He’s been a really good reliever and has always shut us down. Nice deal since if he bounces back we get a good option and if he doesn’t we are not on the hook.

IF - and that's if - he can come back healthy, as Jiggy says this will be like a summer trade picking up a solid relief arm for nothing. I like it a lot.

Blue Jays look like they'll be able to keep the powder dry for a bat at the deadline (or maybe a legit ace). Ryu comes back and pushes Kikushi to the pen and Green arrives. No depth starters or bullpen adds required.
Or maybe both... * Goes off to dream about Ohtani in a Jays uniform *

They can’t afford Ohtani now they’ve traded Moreno. I mean even if they traded Ricky and several more risers that’s likely not going to beat everyone.

Biggio straight up for Ohtani. How do the Angels say no?

Bo Bichette signs multi-year deal. Details unknown. Didn't think he would sign a longer term deal.

It’s a three year deal that buys out his remaining pre arb years. Like Chapman for example last year. Curious what the cost is though.

Probably just going to be a 3 year deal to cover the remainder of his arb years so they don't have to do this song and dance every off season.
EDIT: Yeah like Kasi said.

Awesome. Lock him up and worry about it again in 3 years. Really glad it's not just a one year deal so we can do this all over again next year.

It's an average of $11.2m with available $7.05M bonuses if he reaches MVP status.
The kid is good, very good and most likely will out perform this contract but I'm not a fan of this deal as he can walk to UFA at 28 years old.
