Default IP Camera Help

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with HIK Vision NVRs and Ubiquity Cameras. Or using HIK Vision NVRs with other cameras.

I want to use the existing NVR we have.

And add these cameras.

Thanks.

I have Hikvision cameras, but they're recording to a computer, not an NVR.

I'm not too well versed in NVR's unfortunately, so I don't know how compatible it would be with the UniFi's. Especially since Ubiquiti likes to have their devices operate within their ecosystem.

Is there a specific reason you want to use the UniFi cameras versus just buying Hiks?
