Did anyone watch the 2 hour premier on Friday?

Wow was that ever a steaming pile of crap. I'm honestly surprised this was put out by Marvel.

None of the characters are all that interesting. Almost dumb actually. Iwan Rheon is basically Ramsay Bolton but in the future. Watching that hoofed guy stumble around was annoying. Queen has magical hair, King is a banshee. I guess the see the future guy isn't bad.

Spent the whole 2 hours expecting things to get better but it never did. The only part I quite liked was the Kings flashback to where he basically splattered his parents all over the wall by accident when he started speaking. I actually laughed quite hard at that. The scene almost came across like it was supposed to be comical.

I'll try the next episode out but not expecting this show to last long. The Gifted, in the first 20mins, was far superior to this 2 hour premier.

I'll stick to Agents of Shield

They're the kind of characters that work best as side characters in larger plots. Also, a main character that cannot talk probably works better in a comic book than in a weekly TV series.

It's only saving grace is if they turn Bolton into a good guy.

He is overthrowing a corrupt regime that enslaves people in work camps who are not genetically pure. The inhumans are Nazis. Ramsey is the hero.

It wasn't good, but I don't think it was as terrible as I've read.

The actors haven't found their place, but that's forgivable and not really unexpected for a pilot; the dialogue was utter ####; and it was very unpolished - but it is ambitious and fun. Kind of like early Smallville. I'll give it a few more episodes.

Can't believe I didn't recognize Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) until 90-mins in.

Haven’t seen it yet but plan to watch. Don’t forget that agents of shield was utter crap for most of the first season before it found its way. I have faith they’ll find their stride with this one too.
