The new goggles also do nothing.

Was trying to find a Vulpix but now the servers have been down  wonder if it'll still be there later.
Is the Pokemon shared between all people? Or is it for each person? I.e. If I find something can someone else in the place catch it?

It shows up for everyone in the area

I think just the rare ones? I walked around with my wife for a while the other night and we both encountered Rattata's and Pidgey's separately. But when Hypno popped he was up for both of us in the same spot.

I'm not positive. At home it seems like me and my fiance see the same things, but its pretty much just drowzees and zubats 95% of the time

Some areas will just be strictly the 'trash' Pokemon. Occasionally there'll be one popular spawn in the area (Jynx by AE Cross somewhere) or also a matter of being a higher level.

If anyone happens to he/live around the area, Sylvan ls ke is a GD goldmine. At least 15 Pokestops on Lakeshore dr alone

Just took the kids out around Tuscany, had a blast finding the PokeStop's and there were lures everywhere tonight. Good times were had. Servers seem way more stable from about 5:00pm on

I went to a pokestop today, but nothing showed up. Is there something you need to do to make them appear or is it just luck sometimes?

Where are you playing? Just outside in your neighborhoods?

Being an out of downtown worker sucks for this and they took away the feature for pokestop suggestion.
I have to resort to hitting the Thorncliffe aquatic centre on the way home. Three pokestops in a row there.

I don't think pokestops increase the chance of Pokemon appearing unless someone pops off a lure.

The pigeo cater pie, wheedle lucky egg evelove trick works really well.
I had saved all of my common guys, used a lucky egg and evolved them all. Went from mid L9 took L12 in 20 minutes.
I think I had about 20 things I could evolve. I also did it at a lured pokestop so caught a bunch as I went too.
