Gaudreau and Ryan clearly exchanged jerseys sometime during the game.
Bennett and Ryan were great, especially in the 3rd.

Ugly but good teams find a way to win. Smith battled back and gave them a chance to win in the third after a few big breakdowns. Flames score at will as usual. Big win but please play better tomorrow.

He did them no favours. The team having 14 wins with him in net is definitely a testament to this TEAM.
That said, he didn't let in the last goal, so some credit where it's due.

Defense was really not good tonight, but the boys scored 6! Hope they tighten up for tomorrow.
Ryan was great, his best game as a Flame. Great to see.

The game winning roofer by Bennett might be one of my favourite goals of the year.

what a ridiculous game. secondary scoring and depth won the game on a night where the big guns were pretty bad. hope they can come up with a much better effort tomorrow night
encouraging signs: pp2 came up big, signs of life from neal, neither bennett goal called back. ryan's best game as a flame?

When Smith was so far out of position on the last Wings goal I thought they were done.
Never expected that outcome.
For the love of all that is good and holy ok this world and the next, play better tomorrow!

Crazy game!
That might have been one of the worst defensive efforts I've seen from the Flames this year, and yet they still manage to scratch and claw their way to victory. Awesome effort in the 2nd half of that period to get themselves back in it.
Hopefully they have something left in the tank for tomorrow night. These guys have played a ton of hockey lately, and if they can pull off another W tomorrow. Hell, even if they just get a point, we'll be sitting pretty going into the break.
Despite the Flames not playing their best hockey lately, they still have points in 7 straight games. That's impressive.

He made some pretty big saves. He played a good game for a backup.

Mike Smith has the same amount of assists as William Nylander this year. Both have 2. Nylander has 3 points though and has played 5 games less lol

Top line deserved a night where they are picked up by the rest of the team. Top pair as well.

Not impressed with the play of Smith. Between the pucks that went through him, he was constantly out of position and struggling to find the net. Over moving on plays and at times too deep in the net.
