The Parler meta data in conjunction with the data provided by the cellphone repeater in the Capitol are going to provide a very damning amount of evidence against individuals. The question about why its so bad to have been on Parler is it establishes membership in a group that engaged in a seditious action against the United States of America.
No, it doesn't. It's really not sufficient.

Your digital fingerprints build the case against you.
That is certainly true, and it should be that way, but it should be handled by law enforcement who will have the expertise and resources to do it properly.

Yes, it clearly does. The amount of personal information required to register for Parler clearly establishes a unique link to an individual and undertaking of a conscious decision to become a member of that community. Coupled with logs and meta data from the site cooks your goose.

No, it clearly does not. Having been on Parler does not make someone a member of a group that engaged in seditious action against the United States of America. The content and nature of engagement on Parler may, but merely having been on Parler does not.
Statements like that are both wrong and, in combination with both a map that can be used to identify individual households of Parler users and a climate of justified anger about what happened on the 6th and what has been happening generally with the far-right, have potential to result in people who have done nothing wrong becoming targets of public anger and distrust.

Wooof. This whole thing is ugly AF on the surface. I mean, as a casual observer with morbid curiosity I never really dug deeper to see what it was lies behind the curtain. Reading these Parler posts AWS served up as proof is damn frightening.
To me, and this is going to sound ridiculous, it seems the Maga cult has whipped up all the would be high-school shooters at once. And thats on top of the armed to the teeth militia groups just chomping at the bit to unleash some freedom.
