For the VGK vs COL and DAL VS STL on the 8th and 9th, do you think they could potentially not play their best players to impact who they will match up against for round 1?

I think that this is very much possible.

Any news on Bishop? Just out as a precaution or something long term?

Dallas is not looking good during this seeding round.

I look at Dallas' roster and it baffles me that they continue to win 40+ games each season (this would have been 3 straight).

Possible but there seems to be no advantage. In the east if you finish last you night get Carolina, those guys are on fire.

In the west you might get Calgary? As the other favorites are down.

EDIT: Nevermind, hadn’t looked at the round robin standing closely. User error at it’s finest.

I maintain that both teams would prefer to lose so they get Vancouver.

Allen vs Khudobin in net. Seguin is also unfit to play.

Why? Honest question. I don't see us as a bigger (or lesser) threat than the Canucks.

First of all, I don't think either team cares which one they get between the Flames or Nucks.

But probably the biggest concern between the two is Markstrom - he has the ability to win a series by himself.

I think Calgary is a tougher out than Vancouver.

-Deeper lineup. Especially on defense.
-More playoff experience.
-Generally bigger and more physical.
-Coach who has cup experience.
-More to prove as Vancouver is just beginning their window but Calgary has a group that needs to prove that they shouldn't be blown up and reformed.

Sloppy sloppy play. I think they’re going to have a slow start with just playing round robin games.
