Meh, battle royale trailers always manage to make the game look so cool, then you actually play it and it's ten minutes of wandering around by yourself picking up guns, most often just to get picked off in one shot by someone you couldn't even see. I'm over it.

Plunder was way more fun than Battle Royale in my afternoon of playing. A lot more objective based and more strategy than simply surviving.

I still think there absolutely has to be a civil war version of these games. Where you're maximum range is about 5 feet, and there's a 50% chance that the bullet won't penetrate the jacket.

Where you come across an enemy and both fire and miss, and then go through the task of reloading hoping your a little bit faster then the other guy and oh crap I dopped my powder envelop in the mud.

You have a class called a doctor and he runs around sawing people's legs off and applying leeches.

You've unlocked the Gattling gun.

Haha, wow I thought 20 GB was bad enough.

Free-to-play, but do you need the buy a bunch of loot packs to be competitive?

Really enjoy it so far.

The map is very large and varied, the Gulag vs mode is fun and adds a nice twist to dying/game length, the Loadout crate is amazing because I have some extremely competitive builds from playing the previous MP mode, the contracts (esp the kill contracts!!) rule, and helicopters are a nice touch.

Only real beefs I have is one of my buddy's was having performance issues and had to reboot (rubberbanding), and $4500 to revive is a bit steep.

I also have some rubberbanding issues but on PS4. For the money I am normally about 20-30k regularly so the revive i feel could even be a bit more steep as I'm consistently buying killstreaks and using them 2-3 times a match.

I haven't played a COD in years, I can't imagine I have a chance of surviving in this

I feel like some games I have tons of cash, but others you feel like you're scrounging hard or pooling cash to revive someone.

Finished top 5 twice and even in those rounds we still were a bit strapped. Self revive kits ain't cheap either lol

What have you found to be the best loadouts for BR/Plunder? I have been using HDR/M4 but am curious on what else is working.

100% my fave so far is 680/MK2. Having the 680s stopping power in close (1-2 shots) and the MK2 for mids (1-3 shots) is perfect for my playstyle.

Just won my first round as a 2-man with a buddy. Pretty solid; found a kitted MP5 and it wrecked house.

Recently I have been playing plunder but the MP7 with extended mags just shreds people not a bad option if you want to switch it up.
