Remember liking Reider on his PTO and have liked him all season. I’d absolutely re-sign him. At league minimum, he gives the Flames plenty of value. Likable, low maintenance guy who can play up and down the line up and can use his speed to impact both ends of the ice.

Turns out 5 goals was all that was needed. The Oilers were a lot closer to being a playoff team last year than even they realized.

Another SHG for Toby Rieder in this afternoon game in Game 3 vs DAL. It's his 3rd of this playoffs (1 in the qualifying round vs WPG). All short-handed.

He has 7 goals in Edmonton, 5 of them are shorties, and none of 7 were as an Oiler.
