Sharangovich credits Devils assistant coach with helping him through tough days in AHL

He was only 20 years old and spoke essentially no English, which definitely didn’t help for a young guy trying to find a foothold with the New Jersey Devils organization.

The first step in that process was with the Binghamton Devils in the AHL.

Looking at all the Devils IR players and where they are in the standings I question how motivated their management would be to trade futures & roster players for a FA like Tanev or Hanifin. I think this season could be a write off and aggressively pursue those players in the off season when it won’t cost assets.

Anyways, I hope the Flames ‘pack of hyenas’ identity continues with Sharky, Kuzmenko, and Huberdeau feasting on the Devils depleted roster.

Welp, I didn't think I'd say that I was excited to watch a Flames game this year, but I'm pretty excited to watch this one. I love the new mix of players. It will be interesting to see if Tanev is in this one or is dealt anytime soon. It seems imminent.

I think it's a question of when Hughes and Siegenthaler are back. If they are back relatively soon, and you add a Tanev or a Markstrom, that's a different team than what they are icing now.

Again, NJD is one game behind Philly for 3rd in the Met. And there are still over 30 games left.

Get into 3rd, and your first round opponent is CAR, who are not a juggernaut this year.

If I'm Jersey, I'm still looking at this year as having all kinds of potential.

with all the chatter of njd interest in Tanev is see a mid-game trade. second intermission he gets directed to the devils change room and plays for them in the third

After Markstrom has a stellar 2 periods, the rumors come to fruition and the deal with New Jersey goes through.

Markstrom comes out in the 3rd wearing a Devils jersey, ineligible to play but he finishes the game on the NJ bench.

Flames win.

I think a lot of us have written this season off and are eagerly anticipating Conroy's moves in the trade market. I'll watch today's game but can't say I'm enthused about the on-ice product right now.

Really hoping that the top line on the Flames continues to show chemistry, and that Huberdeau is actually back to being a top-line player. He looked fantastic in Boston, and I hope it carries over. Even superstars don't always look like superstars every single game, but I would love to see another building block game for him.
