Default Flames 4 Bruins 1

Flames 4 Bruins 1

- Kuzmenko scores in debut
- Huberdeau's best game as a Flame
- Kadri with three assists
- Flames impressive with depleted roster

Pelletier looked great, really have to wonder if he would have made a difference early in the season.

Agree with your comments on Kylington, it wasn't until later in the second period that I realized he was playing tonight.

The call on Pospisil was absolute garbage.

Huberdeau with an exceptional game after after a putrid performance against Chicago.

More of this please.

His 4on4 snipe was the TSN turning point, no question IMO.

IMO, that was easily Huberdeau's best game as a Flame, and not just because of the 3 points - I was saying it from the first shift. He had more drive and more compete than we've seen most nights, and he made several really good plays. Glad the points followed him because he deserved it.

They looked like a first line. All night long. Mostly because of him.

There's been a couple other Huberdeau games that rival this one but it's certainly up there.

Live by the sword, die by the sword, Marchand. Love that the team stood up for each other and pushed back tonight. It’s so nice to have a player like Pospisil who adds that edge.

IMO, tonight was really encouraging in a big picture way. There’s lots of work to do on the roster but there’s some potentially nice pieces falling into place. I’m just happy to see them play fast and compete hard all game. Not at all impressed with the Bruins.
