Keep pumping the Oilers Sportsnet
It’ll be that much sweeter when they lose in round one, pissy is traded next deadline and mcdavid leaves the year after
The window is closing

Don’t think I’ve ever seen so much good fortune fall on one team before. It’s ridiculous. Baby soft schedule against mostly bottom feeders and non-playoff teams, multiple breaks between games, favourable reffing, every puck thrown at the net going in… and on the rare nights when they do play a top team, those teams aren’t even showing up. The whole thing is just so absurd.

Let them win 17. Let them win 30 straight for all I care. They can even hang a banner for it. It will be as sweet as it always is when they get knocked out of the playoffs and all the oiler fans are crushed.

The Athletic had an article on the Oilers and it asked who would most likely pick up the cheque for dinner. Number 1 was a guy I'd never heard of, McDavid was nowhere on the list.

That was who was the least likely to pick up the cheque.

Literally no team they play seems to want to.

Too bad they don't ever get clubs like COL, VAN, or WIN who wouldn't be listless at the very least.

The answer is… no one. All the Oilers just leave and stick it to the restaurant.

If that's McHobo the Vegas defenseman probably gets a double-minor for hanging on him.

I mean, the VAN power play is Hughes, Miller, Pettersson, Boeser and Lindholm. With Demko in net they literally have six all stars on the ice at the same time. When was the last time ANY team could say that?

Lindholm MIGHT have just a little bit more room to work out there with when the PK has to worry about all those other guys.

These guys are just ignoring Vegas missing some of their best players

Like what if McDavid and ######-bomb were missing from the Oilers, we would never hear the end of it
