Do you have to be amped up on a case of redbull and bottle of Adderall to enjoy this?
And why do studios insist on adding tedious puzzles and awkward platforming to their games? Who likes this crap? The same people who don't like chocolate??
Wish I could get a refund.
I really enjoyed the game but there were a few jumping puzzles that I could have done without. IMO a lot of developers insert these types of puzzles as filler to extend gameplay length. As I've said before I'm kind of over jumping puzzles in this day and age. It's one thing to do a boss battle over and over where you have to improve and refine your skills or find a weakness but doing jumping or other platform puzzles over and over just isn't fun.

Finally picked up a Logitech X52 H.O.T.A.S. yesterday, looking forward to some Flight Simulator without having to use an Xbox controller and relying less on the keyboard.

I'm still trying to figure out an all in one solution. Right now my racing rig which is home made is in the garage with no way to attach flight stick and using an older PC. I want my main PC and racing/flight in my office all together in a pretty package.
I would have said it gets an automatic fail for the bezels. Just get a g9.

I've played Squadrons a few times across my three PG279Qs and it's glorious. I can't imagine how awesome Flight Simulator would look. Now if only I could get my hands on a throttle and some pedals...
You must do The Witcher 3 side quests! The writing is just as good as the main story proving insight into the characters and setting. I also enjoyed how some of the quests offered interesting choices that impacted the game.
Agreed as above you can avoid the map markers like treasures and monsters unless wanting to grind out XP.
Just wanted to bring this back with an update
This is a great piece of advice since I've been really enjoying the side quests part of the game so far (at the risk of ignoring the main storyline).
I can't think of another particular game off the top of my head that caused me to dwell so much on the choices I made or the circumstance behind a side quest. Examples like the truth to what happened to the missing wife, the true nature of Annabelle on the Island, or from the main story line and the ladies of the Bog quest, it's been fun trying to figure out the "right choices"

Up until a few months ago, all I was playing was an old Eugen game called Wargame: Rd Dragon - best RTS of all time IMO.
Now I’m just finishing up Breath of the Wild on the Switch and I gotta say, this is probably the best game of all time period. What an amazing adventure.
For the Tales JRPGs, those who have played them, how would you rank them? Zestiria, Berseria and Vesperia are all heavily discounted (75-84% off) on Steam right now and curious to who liked which. I really liked the original PS1 Destiny, and Symphonia was A+ to me (just finished another play through).
Two of the most over powered fighters in the GFFA. The B Wing was a capital ship killer, the Defender basically was faster, more heavily shielded and armed then any other fighter. They're going to really have to find a way to adjust the balance of the game, and find a way to encourage people to use the other fighters.

Yeah I haven't played FF, Hades, or Doom (and based on that list I obviously should) but Game of the Year is Ghost for me, 100%. Beautiful game, so fun to play, great story, and great world. It was just one of the most enjoyable games in recent memory and there isn't a part of it I didn't like.
It had everything I could want in a game. Animal Crossing is fun but it's Animal Crossing, and Last of Us was technically great but pretty unenjoyable.
I want The Last of Us Part II to win, because I want to see internet nerds absolutely explode.
Its a pretty weak list for the most part, TLOU2 might be great I haven't played it as after finishing the first one I didn't feel like playing another one. Animal Crossing would win in a popularity contest but Ghosts is still adding to the game with PS5 patch and multiplayer its hands down GOTY for me. Doom eternal? really?
I imagine GoT will do very well in our CP GOTY but we also don’t follow this dopey “December to November is the year” system they have going for The Game Awards. Cyberpunk will count for us (assuming it’s release date holds)
Yeah, the only ones on that list I've played are TLOU II and Final Fantasy 7 remake and neither of them deserves to get a game of the year award.
Considering we were all stuck in our houses, this has not been a very good year for video games. Glad I had a backlog of stuff to play. I guess my GOTY is Disco Elysium.
