Edmonton is No Good VIII: There's Still Something in the Water!

Wow. So much to process here...
(1) Even way back in 1981, Wayne knew that Edmonton needed some “classing-up.
(2) Like McAvi and that weird airport couple, Wayne awkwardly hints at an inappropriate rendezvous
(3) Wayne is convinced to bugger off by...? That’s right: helping himself to a glass of wine.
E = NG

I remember that when it happened. Supposedly hockey players were all into soaps, because of their schedules, and he was a big fan of that show.

153 minutes and 46 seconds straight of shutout hockey for the Leafs over the Oilers.
The Leafs scored 11 goals in the same time.

Anderson is a bum. His backup and his backup's backup shut out the Oilers, but what does Freddie do? Lets in a goal!

Just when we think we can't get any lower, we can always remind ourselves that we aren't the Oilers.

It's a good thing that he does so many other things on the ice when he's not scoring. Oh wait....

At the very least, he could do some twirls with those hefty skating skillz of his.

I hate to say it, but the leafs are the only good team in the north.

Jets are hard workers, but yeah, Leafs are the only legitimately strong team up here.

Jets deserve some credit as they play a solid team game. I'm not sure they would make the playoffs in every division but they are a lock in the North. Edmonton and Montreal will likely make the playoffs but would have no chance in any other division. The fact that the Canucks and Flames have been so horrible in a bad division is telling of how bad they are. Kind of a shame actually as if the both played in another division they would likely finish 29th and 30th overall and have great odds for the 1st overall pick.
