Looking over some the posts in this link reminds me how much we miss Cowperson's contributions. And how we don't miss speeds contributions at all.

Without this forum I'd be pretty lost .

Calgary puck helped me start my current business and contribute to several great relationships I have since before my join date.

I've met many of you and am grateful for every single encounter I've ever had.

Amazing to me the different walks of life from all of the world we have posting on here Flames Fans or not.

Imo there is no forum like it and woW some exceptionally kind people on here.

Thinking back to the floods and the enormous community of people helping others who'd otherwise be complete strangers.

So cool.

So this forum has been going for 20. Another two periods of 20 and then we'll get into... Gaudreauvertime.

Think we should start having those CP pub nights like we did back in the day. They were always amazing. The assumption of 100 internet nerds was replaced by the actuality of a lot of great people with a pretty normal thing in common.

We should do a yearly invasion of some place to watch a game together .

It's hard to believe it's not a tradition already.

I was on the original as well.
Wow that's going back
From Drumheller to Camrose to Edmonton to Montreal and now Chicago, still my go to place online. There would be nothing left for me to see on the internet without CP

Didn't you guys have a BBQ back in the day during the dog days of summer? I would actually fly out to Calgary for that to meet fellow CPers.

I recall two of them. One was at Dutton's Lounge, the other at Peanuts Pub to watch Game 6 of the 1989 Cup Finals.

Man, that was a long time ago.

I ran a few sites prior to joining CP, but this is my primary online hangout these days. I've grown quite attached to it, as it's now part of my daily repertoire to check in throughout the day and see what's up.

Invite the whole board over to your house to watch the last game of the season. Or at least invite Jiggy_12 and I, browna, Captain, and Jiri.

I'll never forget meeting browna at Rexall when he turned around and demanded to know who I was. An impromptu CP meetup with me, Bill Bumface and Bring_Back_Shantz.

I worked for KevanGuy. I partied with a bunch of guys in Victoria going to the strippers.

You all drive me nuts sometimes, but I love you.

It'd be worth the trip from Winnipeg.

Anything is worth a trip away from Winnipeg.

Please, get me away from Winnipeg!

I had an account that I lurked with in 2004 but permanently came over from the Flames board after it was shut down for a period of time due to someone posting those Muhammad cartoons.

It's been great. Met a ton of people from here through the baseball team, the heckles, the live hockey drafts, and selling/buying stuff. Now it's funny how many people I meet and find out they post here or that I work with and realize they post here as well.

Such a great community and amazing group of people!
