I have a question regarding DNS settings for Netflix on a SMART TV. I changed my setting to a DNS address that will let me access American Netflix. I open my Netflix and all the extra content is there but when I go to play something I get a message that says "This title is not available to watch instantly. Please try another title"
This message appears on everything I load up except stuff in my recently watch cue. Has anyone come across this before? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks
So after talking to a few people it seems like my DNS code is no good. I've tried a couple others as well and none of them work. What's the best way to get current DNS codes that work?
Didnt see this show mentioned earlier in the thread - recently got sucked into 'orange is the new black'. Made for netflix series created by jenji kohan (sp), creator of weeds.
It definetely grew on me as it went on. Going to watch the season finale tonite, started about a week and a half ago.
EDIT: ya just saw it couple pages back. Apparently i need help with the search function. Anyway, good show.

Interesting article in the Financial Post about the possibility of Netflix offering movies as they're released in theatre, or creating in-house movies.

If they bring the same kind of standards we're seeing from their original series' I say "why not?".
I don't imagine they will be able to release films as they are released in theatres. Probably, at best, a 2 week delay to allow filmmakers to accumulate profit at the box-office.

I hate theaters, my home theatre setup is good enough most of the time. And they are also looking into DVD features being available as well. I wouldn't mind that for a few movies.
Please excuse my lack of knowledge. I'm relatively new to Netflix and don't really know how shows get released. But I just noticed the shield was on Netflix Canada but only seasons 1-6 and not the final season. Anyone know why?
I own all the seasons so not a big deal, just curious more than anything.

Wow yeah that's odd. It's all FX I think so I honestly have no idea.
Maybe they decided the end is so depressing they'd rather not have season 7 at all?? Ha!
So I go to watch Fast Five on Netflix, get halfway through the movie, then realize that for all the Portuguese speaking parts (which there are many of) there are no subtitles. If I try turning the subtitles on in the menu, only the English speaking parts get captioned. How the hell are you supposed to watch a movie with multiple languages being spoken if Netflix strips the subtitles out of them? Bigtime fail

This is the case with an endless number of Netflix movies. You can only watch Star Trek 6 if you speak Klingon.
Anyone else having trouble with Netflix on gaming devices? My library is seriously lacking on my Xbox. Shows I can get on my computer don't show up when I browse/search on my Xbox. Same thing was going on with my relatives' Wii yesterday.
