Lynch retains over Baszler

I was severely disappointment in this match. Both in terms of booking Lynch over Baszler and in terms of the overall execution and psychology of the match. I've said that Lynch has become stagnant as the champion, now it seems like there's no challenger. Instead of having Baszler come out and dominate or play the role of clubber lang in this match, it was fairly even with Lynch dominating for long stretches. On top of this they replicated the same ending that Baszler lost the belt to Sane in NXT thus making Baszler look like the biggest dummy in WWE Woman's wrestling history. I just didn't like this match at all it made the dominant cage fighter look not only weak, but there's no reason to continue this fued after building up Baszler as a dominating force.

Next up Zayn vs Bryan.

Zayn over Bryan

This was a really fun match, mainly because of Zayn's constant whining and crying and negotiations with Bryan. At the same time this was a physical match by two very good performers and it had solid psychology and a great looking ending out of nowhere.

4 out of 5 stars.

Morrison retains the Tag titles over Jimmy Uso and Kingston in a ladder match.

I loved this match, it was too bad that Miz couldn't be there but they came up with a unique solution and it worked. This was a good physical hard hitting ladder match and in the words of X-Pac everyone got their #### in. I loved the booking of the ending where Morrison came down with the belt and Jimmy and Koffi ended up holding the belt holder. Fun little match

Matt Hardy should sue for this blatant rip-off.

That and it was firmly tongue-in-cheek. This is taking itself completely earnestly.

It’s both terrible and hilarious. Needs a dilapidated boat though

Don't need to write a summery of that one, it was just a train wreck. Goldberg needs to never come back again.

Braun is basically a caretaker champion until he gets super man punched out of his boots by reigns

Kevin Owens beats Seth Rollins.

Actually a really good match, Kevin sold his a$$ off both physically and dialogue wise. They had the false finish followed by the no DQ match. The chair shots sounded excellent. While it wasn't a 5 star match it advances the story line.

Undertaker buries AJ Styles

Bringing back the American bad a$$ I guess makes sense, but this was like the movie toxic avenger where they thought they were making a semi serious movie but it turns out hilarious. This would have worked as a concept if AJ was a young guy starting out, instead they pulled out all of the zany stuff in a dead serious Sherriff Bufford style and it just didn't work. Also AJ styles is still one of the better technical high flyers in the business and this match took that all away. I get that Undertaker had to win this as this is all about his legacy. I also feel that AJ is going to a serious part time schedule and we won't see him for a while either. Anyways this whole thing seemed pointless to me, and it wasn't executed all that well.

1 out of 5 and the one is generous because AJ worked his a$$ off to help the undertaker.

I don't know if I'll do a full thing like this tomorrow night, while there were some ok moments, there wasn't a wrestlemania greatness to this tonight and no real show stealing moments except for Owens coming off of the Wrestlemania sign.

Right when the supernatural stuff started it got at least fun

Should have leaned into it way harder though

Maybe they are saving that for the firefly funhouse match? They have no excuse not to make that absolutely bonkers, I want cgi, a mallet that's like 12 feet tall, brain teleporting all over the place

When cena does the u cant see me I want the camera to cut to friends view and have cena be invisible

I thought 3 matches were very good

Zayn and bryan, Owens and rollins

You can tell why those are 4 of probably the 7 or 8 best wrestlers in the company, they leaned in to the no crowd and used the silence to add to the match by talking to each other, helped tell great stories

Then the ladder match was really good, some edits helped imo, but all 3 put on a great show, interesting finish too

Rest was mostly fodder, becky and Shayna was decent but too short, cesaro winning with the UFO was cool

Hoping Edge/Orton and Ripley/Flair can deliver today. I don't have high expectations for the rest. The other matches certainly feature some great and some capable performers, but the matchups just aren't that interesting.

After having a night to sleep in it, I think WWE should give away that AJ/Taker match away for free and just completely lean into it on social media. It was so bad for the first 6 minutes but then moved into the "So bad it's good" category from there on.

They can find work at aew and other promotions to fill the gap. WWE is basically destroying wrestling.

You're thinking just talent. There's other people who would lose their jobs. If you don't like WWE just ignore it. I never could get into AEW but I hope it doesn't die either.
