Now he's spouting off like he was wronged. I don't think the Chiefs wanted to cut a guy who lead the league in rushing the previous year and was on pace for like 1750 scrimmage yards and 20 touch downs when they did it.

Funny though no one seems to remember now what he did, even if the Woman who provoked him is a piece of garbage herself. At least the domestic abuser that they still employee is damn good at football..too bad it's not two fo them.
I remember but I also remember what Tyreek Hill has done and he's still on the Chiefs roster. There is some hypocrisy with the Chiefs here for sure. Hunt wasn't wronged but it's pretty clear the Chiefs are picking and choosing what level of domestic violence is acceptable.

I took the Browns and Ravens as my longshot Super Bowl picks. Also sprinkled money on the Rams, Bucs, and Bills. A Browns/Rams or Ravens/Rams Super Bowl would be just peachy in my books.

Okay, but one is apples and one is oranges. When the Chiefs drafted Tyreek Hill, he had been charged and it was known what he had done. Major reason why he slipped to the 5th round. The organization claims that he told them everything they asked. Even when he had his issues last year, it would seem that he told the team everything that the authorities could verify. The league opted not to suspend him, and TMZ has yet to find the video proving he should be suspended yet. I don't doubt that he's a horrible person. But if they cut him today, 31 other NFL teams are falling all over themselves to call him up.

In the case of Kareem Hunt, the team suspended him because he with held information which eventually came out and essentially proved him to be a liar. He even admitted that he lied about it at the time.

I think the Chiefs are perfectly fine employing people who have committed domestic violence...so long as they are pro bowl level talent, and have dropped that habit. Which basically makes them a NFL team like everyone else. Not one team can plead innocent when it comes to employing bad people.

I cheer for the Chiefs, but I do cringe a bit that a guy like Hill is a big part of their success. I also am a bit bitter that a guy as talented as Hunt is helping another team be a playoff team because the world hated the Chiefs for having him...and now laud the Browns for getting him on the cheap.

In the latest edition of "What's the least surprising news of the day"

Quote:
SEATTLE -- Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended indefinitely again after the NFL rescinded his conditional reinstatement.

An NFL spokesperson told ESPN that the decision stems from Gordon violating terms of his conditional reinstatement under the league's substance-abuse policy. No other details were provided from the league.

You'd have to think that's the end of his NFL career at this point. Tragic, hope he gets the help he needs.

Yeah and honestly it’s ridiculous that the NFL still tests for marijuana at all.

I think i read (maybe heard) a while back that after this season the league and PA are going to re-open discussion on this subject because its now legal in so many states after Novembers elections.

And im pretty sure Gordons issues go deeper than smoking weed. The man sacrificed what? 50-60 million dollars by not being able to stop getting high for 8 months a year? That in and of itself is a problem.

I really am/was cheering for him too...every time. Looked like he could have been really special and possibly more.

As for the games...im never confident about the Packers...ever. Not to Syl and the Chiefs level but similar. Im strangely calm this time...which is good. The last time i felt like this about a GB playoff game, they won the Super Bowl.

GB 27 LA 21

Ravens by 4
KC by 13
TB by 7 (Ugh I just think Brady/Rodgers are destined to meet in the playoffs)

That Rams bone-white jersey may be worst in the league

Big series to start with GB getting the ball...Rodgers is a bit off today but still doing enough.

Running game looks ace.

Packers look really good. Donald is definitely not himself today and they are getting shredded.

Crazy now to watch a game and almost no receivers wear a number in the 80s.

Quiz. Who is the reciever in the NFL who wears an 80s number.

McVay calling a timeout on 3rd and 16 there instead of taking the delay of game was dumb. It drives me absolutely crazy when coaches do that.
