Lol. I’m not saying this is the answer but Drake was right there. Has he ever done a performance for the team? Leave the performance for half time. So hokey.

Something the Raptors might miss without Lowry is not having a guy that the officials respect and will give the benefit of the doubt to. Barnes getting the classic rookie whistle so far.

Barnes call looked weak as hell. Anyway, the only major player lost was Kyle, but the team identity looks so different. Lowry couldn’t have made that much of a difference to the win column. So they shouldn’t be that far off from last years win total. But they are making some very rookie throwaways so just based on this game so far, I’m going to go with 41 wins.

A lot of missed open looks from 3.
I love Barnes' make up. So explosive.
I also think the Wizards are going to surprise this year. Beal, Kuzma, Harrel, Dinwiddie, KCP. They will be competitive.

Ya those were some bad calls, both on the supposed charge and also the defensive fouls that Nurse got T'd up for.

Zero flow on offense, so many forced shots. And obviously they need a big man solution, getting dominated on the glass and in the paint.

This game is finished, but I'm sure they'll be able to get better fast. Their passing has been terrible that it can only go up by settling down a bit and not trying to do quick passes. That alone should keep them closer in games.

Sucks they got into such a huge hole, but the fourth quarter push was nice to see. Banton and Barnes together are going to be such a force if they develop. For the rest of the team, I'm going to hope that we can chalk some of it up to first-game jitters as far as the shooting goes.
But I'm a little worried about what Harrell was able to do. After the abyss that was our center position last year, Masai and Webster need to pull the trigger if it's not working there again.

Managed to watch the fourth quarter. Man, that did not look good in terms of depth. Long sequence of brick after brick killed any momentum from a shooting perspective. Banton looked great though. Defense looked pretty good. There just wasn't an effective shooter on the floor. I don't even mind if it's the other team making it hard to put up points, but the Wizards didn't even have to try, the Raptors did it to themselves.
Maybe the first three quarters were different.
I hope that the whole roster gets some minutes in the next few games, because they need to figure things out and gain a rhythm.

The offence will struggle all year. Getting Siakam back will help, but there isn’t enough scorers/shooters. Tons of talent and potential though, so I think it will still be fun to watch.
