Well then you'll be aware that as brutal as that was there had been n many worse performance in the PL.
And Ronaldo isn't the issue. Far from it.
Time and time again he refused to pressure Van Dijk or Konate when they were in possession, allowing Liverpool to set up further up the pitch and wait to receive the ball out wide. Meanwhile at the other end of the pitch, Jota was all over any Manchester United defender, giving them no time on the ball and really doing the dirty work to cause turnovers and high risk passes.
I actually thought the offside call on Ronaldo's goal was very harsh, I don't understand how it was ruled offside as the player was nowhere near interfering with play. With that said, at this level, you just can't have a passenger like that and compete at the highest level. Signing Ronaldo was a vanity project that is costing them dearly.
I think this is a team perfectly designed for Sam Allardyce.
It’s great, really. We were horrible today, but not this bad! These little things just help cheer you up when you’re a little down after a poor performance.
I’m sure that tomorrow when OGS finally gets sacked and we have to deal with the new manager bounce next Saturday, it won’t be as enjoyable.

It's the annual Slava October November posts!
This time last year we were being educated on the virtues of Mourinho!

Ronaldo was the one ruled offside?
Yeah you've already stated your weird claim where you answer your own question.

Commercial aspects aside, I don't know what Manchester United were thinking by bringing him back.

I dont know man, he looked pretty non-plussed at his post game presser.
Doesnt really seem to me like he's under all that much pressure.
And again...who do you replace him with? There arent a lot of top managers just waiting around for this job. Not to mention, I kind of have to agree with Scholes that the squad just isnt good enough.
I do have to echo devo's question though....what happened to Maguire and Shaw?
Liverpool played United off the pitch today and never really seemed to even shift out of second gear, but a big reason they were able to do that is because Shaw and Maguire were flat-out awful.
As I've said multiple times, I dont rate Shaw or Maguire as highly as some, but they're not terrible. They're English Internationals just coming off a Final but today they looked like it was their first day.
Look at every Liverpool goal and there are those two in the background looking dejected.
Is it really all their fault? I know they got hung out to dry a few times, but it was also as though there was no communication on the back line.

I'm never afraid to admit when I'm wrong. It looked to me on the replay that the arm was the only part of Ronaldo's body that was ahead of the last defender. I thought it could only be offside if a part of the body that you can score a goal with was ahead?

I’m surprised you’re around today. Usually when United loses we don’t hear from you. Last year you were singing the praises of Ole and telling me how wrong I was. How’s that going?

Oh I'm always around to listen to your teenage bs.
Last year I was telling you how wrong you were. Yes I was. That was when you were all mouthy after a 6-1 win... Yes? Fire Ole! Mourinho is the bestest!!
How's that going? You look at last year's table and tell me?
This looks like it could be one of the best races at the top of the table that we’ve had in a few years. The top three don’t look like they will be dropping many points along the way. That was a fun win, and a bit unexpected. United had typically been one of the better sides at slowing down the Liverpool attack over the last few seasons.
