I quite enjoyed The Muppets Haunted Mansion special. It had some good lines and fun nods to the actual Haunted Mansion ride, which I appreciated as a Disney Parks nerd.

emilio estevez will not return as the beloved hockey coach in season 2, according to our sister site deadline. The trade reports that disney passed on the actor’s option for next season after a back-and-forth over the series’ requirement for covid vaccination. Estevez, who also served as executive producer on the disney+ series, reportedly refused to give assurance that he would comply with the mandate, so the studio decided to move on. Reps for both estevez and disney have not yet responded to tvline’s request for comment.

Alright...its interesting that someone like Emilio Estevez has that kind of confidence in his career that he could make a decision like this.

Its not like the guy has been drowning in work. Get jabbed Emilio.

There are pro athletes potentially giving up 10s of millions of dollars over this issue.

Rationality left the equation long ago.

I for one hope the write that Coach Bombay died of COVID, and the characters have a big long conversation about how stupid he was for not getting vaxxed.

I know it's nothing more than fan fiction, but man the scene plays great in my head.

Hopefully Charlie Conway returns and takes over the helm.

Seems fitting to hand it down.

Bombay died off screen Poochey style.

Or drop a piano on him as he goes on a date with the main kids mom.

They could bring back the coach from the third movie, I actually liked him, he seemed like more of a coach then Bombay who was just a gimmick play coach.

I doubt JJ would come back to the Ducks franchise, he's probably the most successful of the Duck originals.

The Estevez nostalgia was the only thing making the show watchable.

I was disappointed in Mighty Ducks game changers at the time and even more so now after seeing how well Ted Lasso nails the sports TV genre.

First two episodes of Hawkeye are out, not too bad. Like the small personal story rather than some big universe impacting plot.

So Jungle Cruise was an entertaining enough family movie. Enjoyed the throwbacks to the ride at the beginning.

Thus far I enjoyed the Hawkeye episodes.

I dont know, there is something inherently relatable about Clint Barton that makes you want to cheer for him.

Once again they're hitting their notes with moments of levity accompanying seriousness and characters that you like and care about.

So far so good.

So last week I rec’d an email from disney indicating the price is going up to $119 from $89

Then yesterday I get an email from Apple stating Disney is going to renew for $89.

Anyone else get this? Both emails seemed legit and they were not asking me to do anything.

My renewal date is dec 25 and as I recall it was typicalled billed via apple.

You'll end up getting charged the $119 (through Apple). Apple's automated message re: the sub for whatever reason doesn't reflect the new price, but you will be charged it.

Black Widow, and Hawkeye both, I really enjoyed the scene where they have to pick up advil and bandaids. It's seems so obvious, but I just like that they are setting that tone for the guys who aren't gods, the burnt out and broken down soldier vibe works so well for these characters. Hopefully they find a better landing than Black Widow, phase 4 is still only about 2 out of 7 for really sticking the landing (Loki & Wanda vision in my opinion)

As someone with no musical ability this Beatles movie is quite impressive. Coming up with songs looks exhausting, I respect what musicians do much more now.
