The Soda Thread..( cola, pop, coke, soda... whatever you call it here)
I looked for a soda thread but didn't see one..
I really wish they had Dr Pepper 10 here in Calgary but they don't. I have been missing Raspberry Coke Zero too. The only place they had it in the states were places with Coke Freestyle Machines ( namely Qdoba - another thing I really miss.. Mucho Burrito doesn't cut it). Are there any Coke Freestyle Machines in Calgary?
They look like this and offer over 100+ flavors of soda.

Also, go try Costa Vida (next to Jack Astors or up in Royal Oak) if you want some Cali-style mexican food. They have Horchata on tap.
I am going to Seattle for a Hockey tourney in a month. I'll be hitting up Qdoba for sure. Good tip on Mexican food. I have actually been looking for some good stuff ( Qdoba isn't real Mexican but their burritos are AWESOME!)
Qdoba isn't crap... Pancheros is the best mexican subway of em all.
oh and it's soda you damn yankees

What I miss most about working in the US is their Coke, which has a spicier more full flavour.
And Pibb Xtra/Mr. Pibb
Really, I can't drink US coke, It is terrible, As soon as I am across the boarder I have to switch to something else.
I don't even know how to describe the flavour or what I don't like about it. Maybe too much Vanila and overly sweet??? Mexican coke is where its at though.
the lack of cherry soda in canada is disgraceful. i saw an ad last night for cherry pepsi and wanted to suicide bomb pepsi canada headquarters.

I think it's nutmeg. And I find Mexican coke closer to US coke then ours.

I had diet Barq's in Vegas, wish they had it here.
Canada's a diet pop wasteland, diet Mountain Dew seems to have stuck around, but I guess it's more important to have 20 rows of Coke and 15 of Pepsi than to give up a few of those. If they stock more maybe it'd sell more!

I was just down in Kalispell this past weekend. Bought a couple pops that are hard to find.
I came across Hires Root Beer, I forgot about that brand of root beer, growing up use to be one of my favorites, its hard to find this stuff.
I also bought a case of Pepsi Throwback, sometimes we can get it in Canada. All the different types of pop down in the states is insane. Just walking down the aisle at Walmart there has to be at least 5-6 different types of Mountain Dew, Coke has about 7 or 8 types: Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine free coke, Coke Zero, Vanilla Coke, Vanilla Coke Zero, Cherry Coke Im sure a few more that I forgot about.

Hires still exists? I used to make homemade root beer with Hires root beer extract when I was a kid, tastes nothing like "normal" root beer (for one thing it's nowhere near as sweet). I miss that stuff.
