The early 80s Toronto live music scene sounds like it was an amazing, amazing time. I loved Nash the Slash as a kid - just wished I was old enough to see him live back in the day.

Yup

FM was a very good band. You had Toronto, who in their time were very good live and wrote one of Heart's biggest hits.

I'm trying to think of some of the other ones that emerged I think Honeymoon Suite was in there as well.

It's funny, just yesterday I was watching some Nash the Slash on Youtube and contemplated posting it on the "blast from the past" thread.

He did the music in Roadkill, one of my favourite Canadian movies.

IIRC, Honeymoon Suite was from Niagara Falls and won a Battle of the Bands competition on Toronto's Q107.
