There is a (North) American team that enters the tournament.

Then it is he who shall bear the nation's shame.

Pardubice has defeated the Canadians 4-3 today. Derek Grant with two goals and Jonathan Hazen the marksmen. Canada is OUT.

Martin Kaut tied it for HC Dynamo Pardubice with 85 seconds left in regulation and Patrik Poulicek added the game-winner with 33 seconds remaining.
Complete choke job.

Yep, I watched the game. That was a pretty brutal choke job.

We all know that this is Chris DiDomenico's fault!

Two third period disasters in a row...they looked the better more consistent team yesterday against a better opponent in Davos and I assume today as well against an inferior opponent, but minutes or two of lapses and they go home.

Did Boudreau use his timeout today? 3 goals in 3 minutes was definitely a momentum train that needed interrupting.

Altercation between Davos Head Coach Josh Holden and player Tomas Jurco. Apparently Jurco's contract has been terminated.

Quote:
Following the game, Davos released a statement in which they revealed that Tomas Jurco was leaving the club after requesting a contract termination by mutual agreement. The club statement read (as translated to English):

"Tomas Jurco is leaving HC Davos with immediate effect, despite an ongoing contract. The striker's contract was terminated by mutual agreement at the player's request. We wish Tomas all the best for his future and thank him for his commitment to HCD."

I wonder if they do something with Holden too.
But after my boss, even in hockey, grabbed me like that I'd want to quit too.
