I badly want Dube to do well and like the kid, but it is not going well. That’s a frustrating game- flames had some poor decisions but still could have won.
I’m sure the refs will realize after the game all the penalties they missed on the devils, and will watch them with a very close eye against McDarling and Pissy tomorrow.

Realistically, if the Flames just stop throwing bodies into Dustin Wolf’s legs, they’re riding a three game heater.

He hasn’t let in a leaky goal since his recall.

Dude looks like Cujo out there, and skates like prime Quick.

Sharangovich is a player.

Huberdeau looks like he might be his generation’s Alexei Yashin.

The quest for Celembrimbor continues.

Well, they have to save all the infractions for tomorrow's game against the Oilers.

A spark to start, which then fizzled out pretty quick.

Other than missing a wide open net huby was invisible, embarrassing effort from him

Nah, the Devils were just saving up all of their penalties and bad bounces for tomorrow, certainly used up all of their good luck today.

They are absolutely a good team.

Calling it now, Devils take four or more minor penalties tomorrow.

Unless the team is in a firm playoff spot by the trade deadline, I hope Conroy doesn’t try to add pieces to try & squeak into the post-season if we’re within a few points of the wild card (I hated it when Tre did this). Use this year as a development year for the kids. Keep Coronato up, obviously Zary & Pospisil won’t be sent back down & Wolf looks great. I like Huska & think he’s the perfect coach for a retool, it’s up to Conroy to maximize trade returns to try and expedite the rebuild/retool. But yeah, this is a playoff bubble team at best, not worth keeping Lindholm, Tanev, Hanifin & Markstrom/Vladar just to get stomped in the first round, if we’re lucky.

Murray will make sure we push for the playoffs.

How did Tre even get the reputation of being a wizard, let alone land the highest profile job in the league? He left a long string of disasters in his wake here…Huby, Neal, Brouwer, Raymond are the easy ones, and the drafting was pretty awful for the most part.

The drafting was one of the few good things. We just didn’t do a lot of it.
