Me too. I was a huge fan and watched until I was old enough that my friends made fun of me for it. But I didn’t care haha!

It wasn't a Mr Dress-up thing though, their first owners were British and never watched Mr Dressup. Just names they liked or maybe it was something to do with shows they watched in the UK, growing up (came to Canada in their 30s).

Loathed the new characters. Annie was the worst, such a whiny character. My kids watched Mr Dressup, just as I did, and disliked her too. The show ended just a few years after they were born (I think my oldest was 5) and then they watched re-runs. They preferred the OG characters over the ones introduced in the latter part of the show.

Have a reminder set for this documentary.

back in school in the 1980's, a couple of friends and I had this idea to make rock concert style Mr. Dress-up t-shirts.
Casey and Finnegan world tour.

We thought it was a million dollar idea. probably sell well even now.

I don't know if I could choose, as there were so many good ones back in my day.
Loved Mr. Dressup, but I remember also liking the Friendly Giant, Popcorn Playhouse and The Hilarious House of Frightenstein, for example.

They totally would, Retrokid has a CBC line that has a couple Mr. Dressup designs in it.

My preschool Mount Rushmore would be Mr. Dressup, The Friendly Giant, Buckshot and Littlest Hobo.

I was on Buckshot when I was like 4. I got to go up and recite my ABCs. I forgot them halfway though.

There were the early morning shows (like House of Frightenstein, Hammy Hamster, Hercules), the daytime shows (like Mr. Dressup, Friendly Giant, Sesame Street, Electric Company), then the after school shows (like 3-2-1 Contact, Battle of the Planets, Transformers, and Flintstones).

The cartoons were real treats because cartoons used to only be available on Saturday mornings.

When I was a kid, if I got home soon enough I could watch Gilligan's Island.

The in later years, I rushed home to catch Four O'clock Rock with Mike Sobel
