Pelletier got a real shot. Played 23 out of the last 35 games, including lots of time in the top six, and still had one of the worst p/gp and +/- over that stretch.

Pelletier needed to sit out, he looked tired in the final eight and downright bad in his last two but he should've gotten back in the line up. Six points in the previous six before that stunk

Because Pelletier has played less than 25 games this year even if he slots in tomorrow does that still make him eligible for the Calder next year?? Not suggesting that’s why he hasn’t been slotting in but curious to know.

He even admitted he was tired and felt his play slipping.

He seems like a real pro especially how Sutter used him to send a message to management.

Kinda, yeah. Should have slot back in towards the last few games here.

Yes Pike posted something to the effect he is still able to win the Calder next year based on games played the other day on Twitter

Hopefully that's right, Ryan Pike tends to get the little stuff wrong

To be eligible for the Calder Memorial Trophy, a player cannot have played more than 25 games in any single preceding season nor in six or more games in each of any two preceding seasons in any major professional league.

And if he plays tomorrow, it will be game #24 for Pelletier.

Yeah, you do okay of course. Sometimes you tweet that the Flames don't have enough cap space after the deadline to call up Pelletier etc.

The time to start Wolf was a month ago.

Not tomorrow, to #### the draft position yet again in classic Calgary Flames fashion

I was getting worried that he might get injured. He was starting to take a lot punishment in the last couple of games he played before getting scratched. I have high hopes for him and he looked ready in a lot of ways, but very raw in other ways. Hopefully staying and practicing with the big club helps him for next season.

It does nothing to the draft position.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Was stapled to Kadri for most of it, at the height of his pouty-ness.

Wouldn't read much into that. Pelts on an individual basis was pretty solid for a rookie. Way more often than not made the right decisions, and showed flare with the puck.

He, like the team, would've been better down the stretch as the players around him elevated their GAF level. Too bad we didn't get to see that.

Why? Not a chance Sutter would have played him.

The fact that Wolf was recalled and Coronato is around doesn't mean that either will play. Just that they'll get a payday.

This team is so effed I have no idea what to anticipate any more.
