They are keeping Margot Robbie. I'm trying to not sound creepy when I say this, but she definitely had some good parts in the movie.
She did, and it was okay, but by keeping her and her character as they are you have to maintain the sort of insane 'clown prince of crime/gangster' aesthetic that they built which seemed ridiculous.
The real question surrounding the Suicide Squad reboot is:
Will TwentyOnePilots still be doing the primary song?

We really don't need another Batman movie for a while.
I'm fine with them pursuing one off movies. There are a lot of great stories that they have to work with for Batman. The trouble seems to come when they try and build continuous stories between many movies.
Yes, my favorite dumb action series returns with more dumb action!
Very smart for them to play this as light-hearted, silly, over-the-top. Looks like a fun movie!
I'm excited that we're slated to get pretty much annual F&F movies for the next while.
Given that F&F is one of the top grossing non-book related movie franchises in the world, that's probably a safe bet. Which is good, 'cause I love 'em, too. If you are curious, in most lists that are non-book related, only Star Wars usually beats F&F
At long last, the X-Men are coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and their transition is being spearheaded by none other than Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
The entire X-Men franchise, the term "mutant" and characters like Wolverine will be making the move thanks to the deal Disney made to acquire all of Fox's media properties. Those characters' film rights were sold off in the 1990s to make cash for a failing Marvel Comics, but now that Marvel Studios and Disney have been able to establish the MCU as one of the most successful film franchises in history, it's time to bring the mutants back.
As expected, Feige to over see all of the rights returning to the Marvel with the Fox merger.
Really excited to see what they have planned for phase 4.

Good news about Fox's R rated franchise Deadpool.. and potential future R rated films (right now the solo Black Widow film is rumoured to be going after a mature rating).
Quote:
Disney CEO Bob Iger has doubled down on earlier claims that there will indeed be a place for Fox's R-rated properties to exist within the House of Mouse, for superhero and non-superhero movies alike.
"We do believe there is room for the Fox properties to exist without significant Disney influence over the nature of the content," Iger said during a first-quarter earnings call with investors and analysts. "Meaning that we see that there certainly popularity amongst Marvel fans for the R-rated Deadpool films, for instance, we’re going to continue in that business, and there might be room for more of that."

I'm just going to say it: Young Justice is the best superhero cartoon series ever. Better than X-Men and Batman The Animated series, it's absolutely amazing.

You can say it, but you'd be wrong.
Young Justice always feels like you're missing out on part of a story. It's entertaining enough, but I feel like it lacks history. Maybe it's because it takes so long to get seasons out.
Batman The Animated Series is iconic and told stories with real depth. Heart of Ice would stack up against any episode Young Justice can throw at it.
Hey BTAS is still amazing and my 2 ND favorite but what puts YJ over the top is : Focus on lesser known characters from DC like Blue Beetle , Shazam, Dr. fate, Zatanna ext, and how the story stretches over am entire season. I also love how the whole show feels like it takes part in this grand DC universe. BTAS is what made me a Batman fan as a kid, but YJ is just a tad better for me.The recent Vandel Savage episode where he needs Darkseids help to repel an alien invasion may have been my favorite episode yet.
lol DC/Warner's keeps on disappointing. Robert Pattinson the top candidate to be the nest Batman. Then basically confirming they're too cheap to pay Cavill; a cameo in Shazam would have done wonders.
