Having trouble seeing what pieces fit. SJ is light on prospects, and no 1st this year.
Might be quantity over quality here.

Why wouldn't he think they should still play the games? He's just predicting that they'll be the best team in the division. Frankly, it's not an unreasonable prediction. You could already make the argument that they have a shot at winning the division, and then you're adding a game-changing player to their already good lineup. This is concerning.

I always thought Vancouver was going to land Karlsson. Or Dallas. Hopefully Dallas rolls in and screws the Sharks over. They have better pieces to give Ottawa.

Ottawa should get a Hertl+/Couture/Labanc+ back as a centrepiece, but they'll likely settle for Donskoi, Melker Karlsson, and Dillon type of meh return I bet.
