It more confirms the more money you have the more invincible and foolish they think. It wasn't a stunt, it's not WWE. That's just fools logic.
But for the UFC it will sell PPV tickets and anyone that thinks you don't cash in on that is kidding themselves
OMG it's WWE, is complete garbage. You can knock it all you want but if also pays the bills of a lot of fighters/trainers that don't get the big dollars or shine of the PPV lights. There's a very good reason that fighters want on these cards of these "WWE" matches that you guys whine about. Its because it raises their stock and gain them fans and sponsors, it helps create an income that they can support their team around them with.
You can hate the Conor's and Cheal's all you want but there's a lot of respectable fighters like Silva that got paid because of them. And that was the elite of elite fighters. The trickle-down effect has got a lot of fighters an income that wasn't there before
There's plenty of old-school martial arts fighters that have a respect factor to them... why don't you hype them and make them mainstream and increase their revenue. If you hate the WWE model so much and the $$ it makes fighters looking to secure their future and families. Then talk about them and build their fights rather than crying about the WWE model and building those fights
If you don't click in to watch the Conor fight, then good on you. Stick to your guns.
I bet the MMA fan in you really don't care about who wins that much either
I understand as a fan, maybe it's not what you want to see. It's unfortunate that not everyone can be a GSP and blow up and go over like he did. But because of that, let's not have those fighters get paid is ridicules.
Push the nonWWE fights then and we as MMA fans win out regardless
