Gutted about this loss to Arsenal, we deserved more.
The referees were atrocious, every decision was in favour Arsenal. The second yellow card was laughable. And the reaction from the Arsenal player was diagusting... Busquets style. Offside before the goal.
Once again UEFA shows that its a corrupt organization that favours the big clubs.

I havent seen one like that in awhile, didnt even have much swerve on it
Those types of free kicks are dangerous with all that movement so close to the 6, and the ball moving so fast. We've seen where there are strikers or center backs looking like they're all over a ball, only to miss and the ball goes right into the net untouched from the original free-kicker.
Still a howler, in that he should've punched it, not realizing how fast he was moving backwards.
The kid looks to have a capable future ahead, otherwise.

On the second caution, the Red Star elbowed the Arsenal player in the head. That's a yellow.
And the goal wasn't offside.
And I hate arsenal.

The contact was minimal but that Arsenal player sold it masterfully. Looked at the ref for 2-3 seconds before deciding to act like he was shot. No way that is a second yellow in the PL.
Edit: Looking at it carefully now, I agree that there was no offside. However, the second yellow was unwarranted.

He may have sold it afterwards, but that's an elbow to a guys head. 3:03 mark.
While there was contact, certainly was a foul, it was not worthy of a (second) yellow. He should have been verbally cautioned like most referees do before sending off a player. They only reason he got a yellow was of the way the guy oversold it. Like I said, Busquets would be very proud.
We can argue all night and day, we'll obviously disagree. But for what it's worth, one of our players said that Wilshere told him that it would not be a card in PL.
I can't wait for the 'where are they now' (spoiler alert: the championship or Vitesse for the Chelsea players) articles in 5 years because only 4 of those 30 kids ended up getting a shot with playing time
if someone had told me a few months ago that Scott McTominay would start a CL game for United before the more talented Tuanzebe and Pereira, I would have laughed. Yet here we are.
