Now to find out if this helps or hurts him in the election. Probably the former, but we'll see.

It's a state court so he can't pardon himself.

Part of me wants to see what a president running the country from state jail would look like.

why? A criminal got held accountable by a jury in court. This is how it should be.

Things could theoretically get messy out of this - but this is undeniably a win for the USA.

The only way that country survives long term is to end the corruption of politics, and specifically the republican party.

He could be president but he cannot vote in his home state of Florida as a convicted felon.

No I agree. I'm just wonder if his supporters to crazy and serious civil unrest happens which is bad for America.

I would have loved to have watched Melania’s reaction as they read the verdicts

going to be a looooong few weeks with 723 angry rants by that wacko until sentencing.

Isn't the first debate with Biden set even before that? Going to be a few messy weeks.

So does no bail mean he's incarcerated until sentencing?

Sentencing is 5 days before the RNC where they would officially select a nominee. Going to be wild times. Part of me hopes he just tucks his tail and leaves the country.

No, he's free. And it's very unlikely he'll ever be behind bars for this. The chance of a first-time offender getting a jail sentence for a Class E felony is low to begin with, and with him it's even less likely.
