The Argos released Shawn Oakman last week and I don't think he's signed on with another team as of yet, maybe he's worth a look as a pass rusher?!?

That was wild. Another good game, I've been impressed with the product out the gate this year. Usually it's slow starts.

The games are a lot cleaner compared to opening weeks the past few seasons where the first few weeks looked like preseason.

The Cup Finals could end on June24! you can't wait until then.
Also it's because the Oilers are in the finals. Would anyone even care if it was Anaheim vs Carolina in the finals?

Exactly. Very few years will have a Canadian team make this deep of a run. Normally the Stanley Cup playoffs shouldn't have this big of an impact on the CFL.

Collaros was pretty pedestrian for the Bombers until Streveler left to the NFL. They don't win their first grey cup without Streveler has he ran all over the Stamps in the Semi-Final and Collaros only eclipsed 200 yards passing in one of their three playoff games. Post-Streveler he's put up some amazing stats and now Streveler is back he's kind of struggled as three games in and he's still not thrown a TD pass. It's not all on him because Jefferson and Bighill are declining but he's not been very good for some reason.

I know you are what your record says you are, but the Elks are a pretty good team that just happens to be 0-3 for the third straight year.

No, they are bad. Jones is a terrible GM who’s basically running a turnstile for the team members, no consistency at all. His defence is awful and MBT at qb can move the ball but can’t throw the ball deep at all so that’s an issue.

Much better than they have been since Jones took over, but i can't go with "pretty good". The depth of awfulness may have skewed how much better they are rather than how good they are.
Zero run game at all...and the D is still really questionable, although and again, better than they have been.
MBT is a WAY better option than Ford is for sure.

Yeah, after sleeping on it, I think I overreached with pretty good. They are still finding ways to lose games that they have chances to win. At least they are much more competitive this season, but that Elks defense especially is not providing stops when needed. You should be winning games when you put 36 points on the board.

I don't think Ryan Dinwiddie gets enough credit for the fantastic job he's done with the Argos. All he does is win regardless of who's playing QB. It looks like he learned a lot from Dave in regards to preparing QB's but he's a much better offensive play caller. Happy to see Carey have another great game. I agree with the decision to move on because of his salary and injury history but the guy is the best RB in the CFL when healthy.
