Wooo....land in rural Oklahoma...now she can retire to a life of luxury on her ill-gotten gains....

Granted, it achieves her prime objective....pissing off Joe Dirt.
This video goes over the judgement. She got the land and the buildings but not the animals. She also didn’t get her legal fees paid so she’s probably in the red and stuck with some fairly useless property.

Okay. So. The Obvious.

The Courts awarded Carol a whole bunch of garbage.

Which, in fairness, when you're suing someone like Joe Exotic...is pretty much what you should have expected.

Anyone else watching Dorohedoro. Just stumbled across this. I'm a low to moderate Manga fan generally. This one is pretty entertaining though. It's done in a retro animation style. Kind of a fun vibe, a bit similar to Scott Pilgrem vs. the world, except with less relationship focus and much more violence.

The trailer park boys animated series is actually really good...especially season 2, it is better than the last few seasons of the live action show IMO

Last Kingdom vs the Vikings, which show would you fine folks recommend?
I actually ended up watching Last Kingdom, since I had watched the first episode already and just went going through. It was an enjoyable show.

Have watched the first couple of episodes of Vikings too. Not so sure yet about this show, though will give it a season probably.

Finished Space Force...
I can’t believe how little I enjoyed it. It has no idea what it’s trying to be.

I actually really liked Space Force.

Surprised to see the negative backlash here especially. I guess it was what I was expecting so I wasn't disappointed.

Steve Carell is like, I don’t know, first guy that comes to mind is Ben Stiller. He needs someone to put him in a position to succeed

Yep, thought Space Force was pretty good.

Sometimes just having fun with a show will do, you know, instead of picking it apart, analyzing the hell out of and then spitting it out. Not every show has to be the best of every show out there.....

Ya, but did you see the colour bars on his uniform? They got some of them backwards. It's totally distracting, and ruins the show for me.

Kidding of course. I like how Spaceforce campus is at UBC.

I mean that’s not just not a fair response to someone’s opinion. I’m a huge space geek, love Steve Carrell and John Malkovich, and love comedy. It isn’t something I over analyze...

But when it hardly makes me smile watching it, let alone laugh, I’m gonna be disappointed.

I liked Space Force. I realized it was not going to be enjoyable to everyone though, especially those thinking it was going to be The Office in Space.

Not quite spoilers but to be safe:

I think people expected and space force wanted to be a comedy about ludacris scenarios, but it ended up being a show about milieu of life in a workplace with poorly thought out structures and objectives. I'm guessing people who have spent allot of time in large organizations identified with the show, but it could easily have seemed like a pointless story about nothing with jokes that couldn't land.

I'm tempted to watch Space Force after seeing the IMDB user reviews are much higher than the critic reviews.

That said The Wrong Missy also has higher user reviews so maybe the public is not to be trusted.

Always a safe assumption.

Finished Space Force. I liked it.

It felt like it didn’t know what kind of show it wanted to be until the 4th episode or so. Hated the Kokomo bit and it didn’t even fit the character at any point.

John malkovich was great.

I had no expectations so maybe that helped me enjoy it!

If you haven't watched the snack size documentary Long Shot you probably should. It's a quick and absolutely amazing story about a wrongful murder accusation.

Not to spoil it, but I am a major fan of the tie-in subject but had never heard this story before.

I know I qualify as a 'member of the public' but I'm three episodes in and I'm really liking this show.

The chemistry between Steve Carell and John Malkovich slays me.

It needs a bit more polish, but there is lots of potential here.

Line of Duty back on Netflix. Just finished S4 and working on S5. Great show. I love British crime dramas.

I watched the documentary 13th. Hell of an eye-opener with everything that's going on right now. Well worth your time.
