Might have to crown a gum champion next! Only problem is mid eighties to mid ninties were the golden era of gum. I know a bunch of the gums are still knocking around but a bunch of them have evaporated. I seem to recall there used to be a wall of different Hubba Bubba and Bubblicious flavours as big as the chocolate bar section. Blueberry Hubba Bubba was awesome. Also, A and W Rootbeer Gum with the liquid center? So good.

Anyone else remember the Licorice Ribbons you used to be able to buy at 7-eleven, Mac's, etc? They were about 2 feet long and maybe 3/4 of an inch wide flat strips.
They came in Purple (grape), Green (mint) and Red (Cherry I think) flavors. You would think the mint would be gross, but it was my favorite. I dearly miss this stuff.

Also cherry twists? Are those off-brand twizzlers? Edible licorice comes in two varieties, old school black licorice, which is a very acquired taste, and twizzlers. The rest is dyed wax.

Let’s have a pudding one next.
Of course, it has to be rice or tapioca.

Yeah I pretty surprised that Jolly Ranchers got destroyed like that. Also disappointed by the Starburst loss.

Cherry Blasters and Swedish Berries. Sophie's Choice right there. I was so conflicted I stared at the option for a minute. Ended up choosing Swedish Berries since I had already chosen Fuzzy Peaches and consider Fuzzy Peaches and Cherry Blasters along the same vein.

Couple years ago on a guys weekend to Banff, I introduced them to a buddy of mine and he bought a 2 pound bag. He ended up crushing the whole thing by 9pm and left most of it in the woods on the side of a tree.

I pretty much always buy 3lbs of those Irish wine gums everytime I go through that candy store. The texture and tartness of those is unparalleled.
Oddly enough, the US Walmarts have their own 'Great Value' brand of Sour Wine gums which are also top notch, but I have yet to find the same ones in Canada.

I must love cheap and terrible because I debated Fuzzy Peaches vs Coke Bottles for a good 5 minutes.

Coke bottles and gummy worms are still one of my favourite candies. Solid top 4, except for the wine gummies. They're decent, but so many better gummies out there.

I just discovered this poll and I'm glad to see that my favorite Fuzzy Peach is still in the running.
