Exclamation [Video] Hanifin and Mangiapane's 2018/2019 Highlights

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzcvlbfh9UY

3rd covid-19 video special! This time it's EatBread aka YeastMode.

In 44 games: 8 goals + 5 assists = 13 points, followed by an awesome goal in Game 1 of the playoffs. Interesting that he was a bit of a surprise holdout in the summer, eventually settling for the 1 year, $715k qualifier.

He was certainly showing how good he could be this season though with 17 goals and 15 assists through 68 games. Many of his goals are highlight reel worthy too. I'm looking forward to that video, but hopefully after a LONG playoff run!

For those that missed them, I also put together Rasmus Andersson's video from last season, and one for the rest of the rookies (Dube, Kylington, Lomberg, Valimaki).

Still figure I'll put a Rittich video together from last season.

Watching the goals I think you had to know he was better than a fourth line player. His shot is so good, and he has a really good backhand too.

Since the Mangiapane video only got 1 comment I'll just add Hanifin to this thread instead of making a new one.

I still think Hanifin has #1 potential. There's so much to like about his game.

It's really great that Hanifin looks this good this young. I know he's been pencilled into a lot of trade proposals recently, but he's got so many raw tools, a ton of experience for his age, and is locked up on a sweetheart deal. The Dougie deal just keeps on giving.

Also thanks AC for wading through so much "non-event" game footage to collect defensive highlights that are easy to overlook.

You also don't hear Hamonic's name called nearly as often as you would expect on the video. I wonder if playing with a more dynamic partner might make Hanifin's offensive game blossom.

I think Hanifin Andersson is the team's future top pair and should be kept together for the foreseeable future

Love your videos AC! Always one of the highlights that keep me going during the offseason. Went back and watched all of the Gaudreau, Monahan, Gio, Backlund, Bennett and Tkachuk videos over this quarantine.
