Apparently the league is restarting June 20th, and there might be a game on the 19th.

Somethings probably been announced, but how does this affect the transfer window and player contracts in general? If I was a player running a contract down, for example, I’m not thrilled to be sticking around all summer. Has anyone seen anything about this?

Can be extended to end of season if both parties mutually agreeable.

So FA CUP TIEs, updated. (Copied from wiki. Not sure what the (1)’s indicate.
Revised dates
27 or 28 June 2020 Leicester City (1) v Chelsea (1)
27 or 28 June 2020 Newcastle United (1) v Manchester City (1)
27 or 28 June 2020 Sheffield United (1) v Arsenal (1)
27 or 28 June 2020 Norwich City (1) v Manchester United (1)
I can imagine that United squad will be one of the weakest they could field, with condensed league play and Europa, of higher importance to them. That’s with the anticipation Europa resumption is announced soon.

looks like Timo Werners move to Chelsea is all but done. Many people thought he was Liverpool-bound, but seems like they'd have to hijack the deal late now or he'll go to Chelsea.
meh, I would have been pissed if he had joined Liverpool because he would have been perfect for Klopp (and he'd have unlocked yet another gear in him, I'm sure), but I don't mind him going to Chelsea. Werner/Ziyech/Pulisic is cute on paper and might work, but it's not that scary in all honesty.

I didn't see that coming and thought that he was a lock for Liverpool. Sucks if you're Tammy Abraham I guess!

Doesn't look like Chelsea are content with just the Ziyech move and potential Werner signing. At least that is the rumor on Twitter.
Trying not to get too excited about Werner until it is official even with the Tier 1 pundits saying it is done.
Having the transfer ban has been such a positive in the end by allowing them to fully scout the youngsters to see what they've got. Then adding some premier talent with that sweet Hazard (and Morata lol) money into the squad. So great.
Michy Batshuayi needs to pack his ####.

City's howler of a third kit pretty much official, and the always measured response of Liam Gallagher.
A lot of new next years kits leaked recently, mostly because previous manufacturers contracts are up July 1 (Liverpool to Nike, Celtic to Adidas). Not sure what the means for what clubs wear the rest of this season (sponsors as well).

I can’t help but wonder how long this restart goes. Norwich has a positive test and we played a friendly with them this past week. If the virus spreads, how can the league continue? Don’t get me wrong, I’m really looking forward to it and want things to continue, but if players are getting sick, maybe cooler heads prevail. We void the season as unfinished, relegate West Ham and everyone’s happy?

those are the wrong questions. The right question is why two PL clubs decided to have a friendly before getting back the results of the latest tests. Irresponsible stuff.
It's going to go ahead as planned I'm sure. Things have gone very smoothly in Germany and Austria, plus Italy and Spain have re-started this weekend too.
