Koskinen looks completely lost. How many pucks have gone through him, leading to him swimming around looking for it?

He looks awful and I love it.

I hope he continues to do that for the rest of his career.

Woof, what a terrible play by Petry with 10 seconds left. Just chip that off the glass and out, or reverse to your D partner behind the net instead of a soft pass for a turnover and chance against.

This should be 5-0 Montreal. Oilers completely outclassed, and looked like a 20 minute powerplay.

I think Ottawa's D might be even better than the Coilers this year. What a fire drill when the Habs are pressing--the Edmonton d-men are always behind the play and out of position, meanwhile the cherry picker hovers at the blue line looking for his breakaways. Tippett at intermission: "We need more swarming!"

Dude, McDavid had a breakaway! Habs are fortunate not to be down after the first.

Montreal may not have the highest end skill but they're deep with quality NHLers. Sounds like depth is just exposing the derpth.

Also the Habs work hard whereas the Oilers simply hang around and wait for rushes and PPs.

I think the way to play EDM is with speed and an aggressive forecheck.

Flames play them too defensively.

Montreal with 3 posts in the first period. Koskinen looking bewildered. Josh Anderson giving the Oil fits. What’s not to like.

How did the Oilers not get a penalty shot and a 5 on 3 powerplay out of that?

Josh Anderson sure would have looked great beside Monahan and Gaudreau. You can see why Treliving was going after him.
