Default January 16 with nine games.

Good morning. The first Saturday of the new season and it's a crazy one! Quadruplet header on the NHL Network, a discontinuous triple header on Sportsnet, a doubleheader on TVA Sports2, and the NFL playoff games. So lots of TV and team logos and get your clicker ready.

NESN is so horrible. Jack Edwards is embarrassing.

I wonder how many games it will take for teams to cut out the simple mistakes.

Subban got absolutely spun like an amateur on that Boston shortie.

Jack Hughes was awesome today. Blackwood and Halak both great.

Great quality game, excellent goaltending both sides. Looks like Devils might be in for a decent season.

Yeah it all comes down to Blackwood. He's looking pretty promising.

If I had to guess, Ekman-Larson has a concussion. He knocks his head against the glass pretty hard.

Hope Price doesn’t crap the bed like he usually does against the Oilers.

Brodie not having a great start this season. Tough to blame him too much on that one but he keeps being around goals against and leaf fish bowl is going to find a new whipping boy.

Well he just made up for it with a fantastic pass to Marner for the tying goal by Thornton.

Brodie with his first point as a Leaf on Thornton’s first goal as a leaf.

Should be at least 4-0 for the Canadiens. Of course Mcdavid gets hemmed in his own zone for a couple mins but gets a break at the end of it.

Nice stretch bank pass by Brodie. I don't think they even mentioned it on the broadcast unfortunately which I was hoping they would have after his rough first couple games.

How many goal posts have the Habs hit this period. Should be about 4-0.
