I dunno I'm not pissed off. This was a fun game to watch at least.

Monahan needs a change of scenery.

I found Giordano pretty dumb for forcing that shot, when Monahan was wide open.

Feels like same old Flames. Get a lead, come out flat, lose momentum early and struggle to stay in the game.
Feels like this is just how this core plays. Never seem to protect the lead.

I believe in the Jays.

Pretty solid outcome, we got a point and still kept the streak alive.

I'm just happy with Markstrom. He's solid. Hopefully we can scrape some of that thick rust off, figure out passing, how to get out of our own zone, and work on zone entry. So like everything.

Second best team on the ice. Pretty disappointing after the great first period.

I gotta say, I really missed Brodie out there for the 3-on-3 gimmick. He was so good at that

Andersson led the Flames in ice time. All things considered he looked up to the task.

Not the result you want but I fully disagree that the Jets deserved it more. Flames had a lot of O-zone presence, particularly in the 1st and 3rd. This one seemed pretty even. Markstrom was okay, definitely better in the later stages despite giving up the OT winner. We all knew we wouldn’t win the opener, we NEVER do but there are some positives (and definitely some negatives) to take away from this one.

After the 1st I was ready to plan the cup parade. After OT I think we should fire Ward and blow it up.

Just give it time. It’s going to take the roster a solid half a season to get used to playing with the same guys they’ve been playing with for years. 55 games left this season yeah?

Yes, but I thought Andersson played fine during OT.
The giveaways were from Tkachuk and Gaudreau.

Hopefully Hanifin can step up. He's a good skater, like Brodie. We really don't have anyone else on D that can skate like Brodie 3 on 3
