Default North Division - Pest Power Rankings

With all the inter-division games (and the Corey Perry signing) this year I am wondering how you would view teams in terms of agitating and getting under others teams skins. Tried to incorporate some toughness and chirping into it.

Here is my quick rankings off the top of my head:

1. MTL - Weber / Perry / Gallager (Edmundson / Anderson)
2. CGY - Tkachuk / Lucic / Anderrson
3. EDM - Nurse / Kassian / Khaira
4. TOR - Bogosian / Simmond / Hyman
5. OTT - Borocop / Coburn / Tkachuk
6. WPG - Lowry / Beaulieu / Shore

7. Van - Myers / Ferland / Roussel

I think you absolutely have to add Bennett to our list. And even though he won’t play much, Rinaldo?

I also believe that in terms of just agitating, we take the 1 spot with Tkachuk alone. He is truly hated league wide which is impressive

Yeah - I was planning on 3 per team until I got to MTL but we have some depth on the pest meter - since this is for the regular season I didn't add playoff Sam Bennett I'm hoping Rinaldo is outplayed and doesn't make it on the roster often but he is definitely there too!

Would inter-division mean between different divisions?

Yes. The appropriate term is "intradivisional."

Yeah, I think you have to rank Calgary at #1 because of Tkachuk. He is the most effective pest in the league currently.

That one is probably arguable... at this point I’ll give it to Tkachuk though.

Tkachuk was super agitating during the play-offs. I mean, mostly you guys because he played so poorly, but the thread said nothing about on the ice, right?

Pretty happy to have the Canucks at the bottom of the list. 2011 was a long time ago.

He's trying again, but last word was it wasn't going well. He's expected to be sent to Robidas island sooner than later.

He played fine, points weren't there. What does 2011 have to do with anything. You're not that naive to think that style of game doesn't work now are you?

It got the Canucks to the final, so I'm very aware it works.

Before Tkachuk got hurt he looked like the wild man from borneo. All over the place and accomplishing very little each time he got somewhere.

If you're aware it works, why are you glad the 'Nucks are at the bottom of the list?

Not likely. Blaster86 is just extremely bitter about the fact that the Canucks missed their best-ever shot at finally winning a Stanley Cup, and that it is an opportunity that will never be reprised.

He is also super-pissed that I made fun of his Risotto recipe (also that I am so happy and handsome). I am pretty sure I made him cry.

This one is low, even for you. I told you about the crying in confidence.

Because sometimes it's nice to have a team that has a bunch of wholesome, stand up guys that you don't have to worry about what stupid thing they do next. I have no issues with current team toughness. Watching Myers try and kill a man in the minnesota series gave me the warm fuzzies without the cringies, and that was nice. Also the Petey reverse hit on that Wild ass hat trying to run around on him.
