This Civ5 is like a time portal.

What day is it?

Loving Brave New World.

I thought I made out okay, but then I ended up spending more :<

Reus
Sleeping Dogs DLC
Assassin's Creed III
Tropico 4 + DLC
Dark Souls: PTD
3DMark
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
FTL
AntiChamber
Awesomenauts 3-Pack
Just Cause 2 + DLC

Funnily enough, I've spent more time playing War Thunder (and dropped $25 on Hitler Bux) than any of the games I've bought in the last 2 weeks.

Hitler Bux sounds like a fun economic/diplomatic add on to Axis and Allies.

Huh... I had intended to buy both Trine games when they were on a Flash sale for 80% off but I dropped the ball and missed out. Now I see it's 85% off.

I am surprised that I am trying FPS type games which are normally outside my comfort zone! Bought the following: FarCry, FarCry 2, Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY, Borderlands GOTY, Torchlight II (really enjoyed the first), Adventures of Van Helsing, and the GTA Complete Pack.

I can't believe I've never played GTA games at all.

Almost bought Infestation which looks cool and I think might be a steal at $3.74! Just kidding.
Well I ended up spending a bit more. I have always heard such great things about the Elder Scrolls games, but had never played them, so I picked up Morrowind GOTY, Oblivion + Adds, KOTOR, and KOTOR II. There goes another $30.00.

Should be good for awhile.

Also discovered I love Borderlands, the game that far and away I have played the most out of any of the games I have downloaded.

Will likely wait for a Borderlands 2 GOTY edition or something similar to buy down the line.

My haul:

Hotline Miami
The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC
Don't Starve
Legend of Grimrock
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Surgeon Simulator
FEZ
Tropico 4: Vigilante DLC
Farming Simulator 2013
Endless Space + Disharmony
Anno 2070 Complete Edition
Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World
Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gold DLC
Age of Empires II
System Shock 2
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Monaco
Final Fantasy VII

I'm glad I got Brave New World. I didn't like Civ 5 when I first played it but BNW makes it much better.

I've yet to spend much time on Civ 5 with Borderlands 2 and FM2013 taking my time, but does BNW really add that much?

For the end game it apparently adds a lot. I held off for now but Gods and Kings goes a long way to improving the game already.

Doubtful, and you would want G&K anyway, together they make the best Civ game IMO.

Civ V Gold (all DLC+G&K) could have been gotten for 12.50 during the sale, but it's back to $50 now.

I got it for 12.50.

I am pretty much never around for these sorts of deals, feel vindicated, especially in light of how much time this game is sucking from me.

Firaxis is good at that. I still remember missing a hockey game because of the "Just this mission. #### a terror mission, k I want to do this now. Oh Plasma rifles finished, k one more mission." In X Com.

"Just entered a Golden Age, k I want to play it out. Oh just entered the Medieval era, k I better get my cities up to speed first. Oh no a war now, better stick around and get ready to defend. Didn't I work in an hour?"

The most insidious part of Civ 5 is they removed the real time clock option.

Oh man, a friend just gifted me xcom after telling him about the rabbit hole that is civ5 for me.

I haven't even installed it yet out of fear.

I thought the Skyrim sale price was a complete joke for a nearly 2 year old game.

That was for Skyrim: Legendary Edition (full game and all the DLC packs) which only came out last month
