WJC needs better vetting of jerseys. CZE vs RUS and both uniforms are pretty dang similar; ignoring potential issues on the gameplay for the players, its a PITA to watch

CZE darks = red pants, white/red socks, red/white shirts (half/half)
RUS lights: = red pants, white/red socks, white shirts with red arms.

I feel for the players trying to make heads from tails

I realize teams want to win and you see this at every level but the pack it in defensive style is not good hockey. CZE and SVK tonight

When CGY played it in 2004 I was all on board so I realize the kind of emptiness of this critique.

But the game at it's best, imo, is when both teams skate and press for chances. I disliked when DAL played it (to the finals and STL last year to the cup).

Highlight the skill, speed and talent. Hard hitting is good too. But the sit back style (guy boucher) is terrible.

Really solid game from Kuznetsov last night - great to see after struggling in the first game. His skating, positioning, and his first pass, are all very strong. And that bodes very well for him.

Better game from Zary as well. I really hope they keep that line together.

I don't see why they won't continue to churn through combinations as the tournament goes on. Even if he misses a game, I am pretty confident that Zary will find his way back into the lineup.
