Default Small Electronics Cooling Fan

Anyone know where in Calgary I can find this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/SUNON-30mm-Coolin...item20ade10584

It's a 30mm cooling fan that I need for my racing wheel. Unfortunately all the regular suspects I checked (ncix.com, active123.com, memoryexpress.com) sell 40mm fans as their smallest.

What I'm looking for is the following:

- 30 x 30 x 10mm fan
- 5V
- 2pin connector
- 0.5 - 0.17 amps
- Noise level less than 24dB
- CFM rating of greater than 2.5

Thanks. Unfortunately they don't have any 2-pin 30mm fans (all three pin).

3rd pin is just RPM sensor. Ignore it.

Check PM Hobbycraft and other hobby stores in Calgary. They often use small fans for cooling RC cars and planes, etc.

Also try the dedicated electronics parts stores like Active Electronics.

40mm fan is not much bigger than 30mm, it might still work if you mount it differently.

You need this for your Fanatec wheel? Is it overheating somehow? It didn't seem like it ever got hot to me.

No, it's not overheating. The problem is that when the fans come on I get this loud buzzing sound when the force feedback kicks in. Fanatec community support told me to replace the fan so I figured I might as well get a fan that's a bit quieter. However, I post I just saw on another forum showed how to fix another problem that sounds similar to mine. Apparently on the new GT2 wheels when the fan spins it hits the metal. What I'm thinking is that rather than replace the fan I might be able to add more washers so that the blades don't touch the metal mount when the unit shakes.
