Eh, a lot of people were predicting Rublev to win that match, it's not exactly a shocker. He's in top form right now and Tsitsipas is decidedly not. Wouldn't be shocked if Rublev keeps rolling for a while, and I'm not sure I'd favour Kyrgios over him. You just never know what version of Kyrgios is going to show up in a given week.

Tough decision tonight, do I watch Millman - Rafa or Johnson - Kyrgios?!?

Isn't that the truth.
Kyrgios is a perfect match for the glitz of the U.S. Open. He should embrace it, rather than have it distract him. We shall see.

I just sent a tweet to the TSN Tennis twitter account asking them that very question - If they respond back, I'll let you know

Vasek is in big trouble. Still yet to win a single receiving point in the match after one set. The score is flattering at this point and he's lucky he's serving quite well so far to keep it close.
In other news Zverev looks like he's on the verge of another complete collapse and early exit from a major. What a fraud.

Albot is a service hold away from going to a 5th set with the German fraudster.
Edit: 5th set it is.

Why so much Greek Yogurt?
Tsitsipas is actually faster to type. Tzatziki, Greek Salad, Greek God, also faster.

Thiem has made two major finals (albeit on clay) so he can't be a super fraud like Zverev, but that's pretty much the only thing keeping him from fraud territory as he's heading towards the exits as well. All of a sudden it's looking like another joke draw for Nadal and wide open for everyone else in that half to make a run.

I think it was the Senator who coined Greek Yogurt and it became fashionable in short order. Ouzo is pretty quick to type as well

Vasek breaks Silent K to take set 2 7-5 and evens the match at a set apiece.

The bottom half of the men's draw looks like what you'd expect from a women's draw, top seeds just evaporating.
Edit: Thiem just basically bailing on this match. #### it, he's a fraud like Zverev, although he gets the dubious "Non-clay Fraud" label.

Millman's gonna win tonight and they're gonna cancel the bottom half and move it to DC or some #### for a makeshift 250 event.

You see all these top guys going out and then it really sucks that one of FAA or Shapo is also going out later today. Thanks Kevin Anderson and Milos also has to take some criticism for bailing on the tourney after the draw was set.

Thiem made the FO Final, otherwise he went R2, R1, R1. The post big three era keeps looking like the lost era. Hopefully that doesn't become Felix and Denis.
